To access Gaurded Chambers(last room) you must go down the stairs at the bottom right of Forgotten Halls. To reach these stairs, pass through a gap in the hedges along the walkway behind the trees.
From here, it's a long walk through Haunted Tunnels but the path leads directly to the last room.

Dog is honestly two caves in one.
One cave (the upper level) is full of dogs and relatively easy.
The other cave (the lower level) is a literally a maze
filled with frustrating spell-casting ghosts.
