The message below was received after choosing the 'follow him' option and receiving another option to pay 1,000 coins for some information.
...I think next time I'll choose 'Attack him'.
Taik Pae
Can be found in Kinung (the RP town).
I usually get there via the grayish boat in Dae Shore.

Once here, say the name of any Tier 1 combo and he will name the ingredients with either a rough number or exact amount depending on which item is it.
There is a long cooldown time before you can say the name of another item.
These hints were meant to solve the Tier 1 combos which have now all been solved. Taik Pae does not seem to give out any further hints at this point in time.
